Preventing Common Security Vulnerabilities

Everyone knows how hard cyber attacks have been hitting organizations of all sizes across all industries. Many attacks are due to an internal user taking a risky action, so how can we help protect the overall infrastructure starting at the app level? In this talk, I’ll go over processes that will help you build securely designed applications from the frontend through the backend. You’ll learn how to approach Product so this work can be prioritized and how to work with Design to include user-friendly interfaces for security implementations. Then you’ll see a few methods of implementing security measures in a React app with a Node serverless backend. By the end of this talk, you’ll have several methods and processes to help protect your organization from attacks as best as you can.
